Daeseong Kalchi Jjigae Gui

Daeseong Kalchi Jjigae Gui has served cutlassfish (galchi) since 2000 at 9 Daebyeon 2-gil in Gijang-eup, in the alleys near Daebyeon Port. The grilled cutlassfish and the cutlassfish stew cost 35,000 won each, and both use finger-thick fillets. Meals come with 15 side dishes. The family-run restaurant also serves fresh anchovy sashimi and anchovy stew, a Gijang specialty, and it fills up fast at mealtimes.
