Handmade Shoe Street, near Seongsu Station, has been home since the 1970s to 70% of Korea's bespoke shoemakers, who work in more than 350 workshops. Visitors can watch the craftsmen and order shoes made to measure, ready in 7-10 days, with international shipping available. Hope Platform is an exhibition space, SSST (Seongsu Shoe Town) runs an academy, and SUDA café pairs coffee with custom shoes. Cafés and galleries sit among the workshops.
