Haehwaok

Haehwaok is a hanwoo restaurant with a hanok-inspired interior, about 250 m from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 3. There is hanwoo soup with minari (water dropwort), and grilled 1++ hanwoo such as aged ribeye and brisket. Sharing dishes include beef shank and tendon hot pot, spicy mushroom hot pot, brisket stir-fried with baby octopus and extra-spicy seasoned blue crab, plus Hamheung-style naengmyeon with kudzu noodles. The broth simmers for 24 hours in total, side dishes are made each morning, rice and broth refills are free, and it takes reservations and groups but has no parking lot.
