About this place

Electric Shoes is an LP bar in the basement of a shopping center in Gangnam-gu. For over 15 years, owner Alex Moon has been building a "Library of Alexandria" of rare vinyl and live recordings. Miles Davis and John Coltrane posters line the orange-lit walls. Moon picks the music and pours whisky highballs, guests hand in handwritten song requests, and Oscar-winning director Bong Joon-ho is a regular.
