Butcheli House

Butcheli House is a small steakhouse in Hannam-dong where chef Seo Il-young, trained in Catalonia, Spain, cooks Korean hanwoo beef. Seating is limited, so reservations are needed. Dry-aged cuts are on show in an open butchery display at the entrance, and steaks are grilled to a caramelized crust with a medium-rare center. The menu also has Spanish pan con tomate, grilled bread rubbed with garlic and tomato, and the room has dark blue velvet sofas and marble tables.
