Bogeonok

Bogeonok, a butcher shop and restaurant in an alley near Euljiro 4-ga Station and Bangsan Market, has been open for 45 years. Beef from its own first-floor meat counter goes into Seoul-style bulgogi in a milky bone broth with vegetables. Office workers come for kimchi jjigae at lunch. After work it becomes a drinking spot for bulgogi, grilled pork belly and deungsim jumulleok (seasoned sirloin); it has a Blue Ribbon award and has appeared on the TV shows Heo Young-man's Baekban Kihaeng and Live Today Evening.
