Jaejae Kitchen

Jaejae Kitchen serves Japanese-style tonkatsu and curry in a steep alley between Itaewon and Noksapyeong stations. The two-story restaurant fries both tenderloin and sirloin cutlets and makes two curries, spinach and meat, which arrive piled high on the plate. The modeum tonkatsu, an assorted cutlet platter, comes with a small side of curry. There are only a few tables, and lunchtime often means a wait.
